Jordie
"Jordie" is approximately four years old. She was taken from a hoarding situation in eastern New Mexico and was emaciated, but is starting to put on weight. Jordie is very affectionate with people and gets along great with other large-breed dogs, but she cannot be trusted with cats or other small animals.
Although blood tests reveal she was exposed to a tick-borne disease, her routine blood work is all within normal limits for a greyhound. We are
treating her with Doxycycline as a preventative measure and GCNM will pay for all medication needed for this treatment. She's learning the ropes of
living in a house and seems to be adjusting well.
She is a wonderful, tail-wagging girl and will be a great companion for any home with greyhounds or other large dogs. |
